A
wonderful evening of 1950’s music comes alive again with such songs as
Little Darlin’,
Zip Zip,
Kathy-O,
Love Love Love,
Silhouettes,
Why Do Fools Fall In Love,
and
Ka-Ding Dong.
The
Diamonds perform not only their hits from the 50’ and 60’s but also pay tribute
to the classic four-part vocal groups of the era— The Four Lads, The Four Aces,
The Four Freshmen, The Four Preps, The Brothers Four and The Four Seasons. They
also honor some of the greatest solo artists in Rock ‘n Roll history—Bobby
Darin, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley. Classic doowop songs at their best,
featuring fabulous vocal harmonies accented by their talents as instrumentalists
on saxophone, trumpet, and trombone.

Michael
Kaeshammer is one of the most exciting young, jazz pianists in the country
today. He has released a series of award winning, critically acclaimed
recordings and has developed a large, international following through his
dynamic live performances.
With
each recording and performance, pianist Michael Kaeshammer digs deeper into the
jazz tradition while carving out his own unique musical vision.
He might
“Jellyroll” into rumba, or “parade” into post-bop funk… or cook up a fiery,
rhythmic gumbo to breathtaking keyboard pyrotechnics.

Acoustic guitar luminary Edgar Cruz has the rare, show stopping ability
to sound like an entire orchestra on only one instrument.
Those who have witnessed Cruz’s performance immediately become entranced
at the precision, speed and complexity with which his fingers strike the
strings of his guitar to create a symphony of sound unusual to just one
instrument. Queen’s
Bohemian Rhapsody,
The
William Tell Overture,
Malagueña,
In the Mood
and
MacArthur Park
are just a few examples.

The sound of a full award winning brass band is entertainment enough,
but add the sounds of World Champion Whistler David Morris, and you have
an evening that you will never forget.
The Prairie Brass Band uses traditional British brass band
instrumentation: cornets instead of trumpets, tenor horns instead of
French horns, both euphoniums and baritones, and E-flat and B-flat
tubas, as well as percussion. Players are attracted to the band simply
because the music is challenging, widely varied, and fun to play.
